“Maintaining a healthy talent pipeline at Akakus and the oil and gas sector, in general, is a key priority since experts are retiring creating an experience gap that needs to be bridged by identifying the talent reserves within the company and investing in them for a sustainable future for AOO and the country. The GC Index provided an objective instrument to achieve this goal.”
Chairman of Akakus Oil Operations

The speed to impact and feedback that I have felt throughout the organisation when using The GC Index® is amazing. People start using the language straight away without having to understand any complex theory in a way that is entirely non-confrontational.

I found The GC Index® session that we had extremely interesting – it allowed me to identify my own personal preferences and strengths, as well as those of my team. Our facilitator, Andrew, was excellent and really helped to bring the written reports to life. He helped us to focus on understanding how our personal and team profiles can be used to help improve our overall business performance.

The GC Index® was effective at a critical time when we created a new team post-acquisition. Our associates were able to identify their roles, bond over similarities, and discover areas for collaboration. The group profiles were also instrumental in defining the needs of the overall organisation and potential growth opportunities.

“The GC Index® adds real value to teams that use it by giving them the opportunity to consider their strengths and how they might best deploy them to be successful. It provides personal and shared insight into how they make their impact and allows them to select roles and tasks that are best suited to their strengths. With four of the top five teams at a recent LA Challenge being powered by The GC Index® the results speak for themselves!”

The game-changing challenge was a fantastic way to get new input and perspectives to our challenge from a diverse group of individuals. The radical process students went through to understand the challenge and come up with ideas that was really interesting – this has helped us question ourselves and look at things from a very different perspective.

The game-changing talent competition worked perfectly. By changing the value chain from ‘Producer to Consumer’ to ‘Consumer to Producer’ students got to understand what XTN is very quickly. Structuring the challenge in this way meant they came up with some incredibly creative solutions as to how we can reach the consumers, which we will be exploring.
